my 10mg vial weighed 11.4g on the jewellery scale, is that wrong
#reconstitution 2025-11-23
a 3ml syringe for the diluent and a u100 for the dose is the setup most people here end up with
unrelated but pick the volume so your dose is a whole number of units. thats the entire trick
dead space
is there any reason not to just always use 2ml
took me a year to stop over-diluting. the measurement error at 4 units is worse than the convenience, anyway
benzyl alcohol is what makes it bacteriostatic. it is about 0.9% typically
how much do i lose to dead space with a 29G pin
foam is bad
lyophilised powder is far more robust than people think. it is the solution that is fragile
weighing the vial before you reconstitute is the only way to catch an underfill, not advice obviously
is a slightly cloudy solution ever ok or is that always a bin it
is it normal for the cake to look slightly collapsed on one side
dead space in a standard insulin syringe hub is small but it is not nothing over a month
