coming back after 17 months, has the pinned recon volume advice changed

weighing the vial before you reconstitute is the only way to catch an underfill

SN

i have never once regretted using a rounder number and a slightly bigger volume

FM

do i swirl for a specific length of time or just until its clear

SN

one unit is 0.01ml. 100 units is 1ml. everything else in this channel follows from that

give it 8 minutes at room temperature before you decide it has not dissolved

🔥9📉4

my 10mg vial weighed 11.4g on the jewellery scale, is that wrong

TT

the last few units are a real loss. i accept it rather than tilting the vial and drawing air

it foamed. is it ruined

VV

slightly off topic but 20mg in 2ml is 10mg/ml. 1mg is 10 units, 2mg is 20 units, easy

VV

unrelated but took me a year to stop over-diluting. the measurement error at 4 units is worse than the convenience

EM

is it normal for the cake to look slightly collapsed on one side

too dilute imo

VV

if the maths gives you 13.7 units, change the volume. do not try to hit 13.7

one unit is 0.01ml

SN

if you cannot read the mark confidently, your volume is too small. redo it at a lower concentration

SN

gross powder mass is not net peptide. water and counterion are in that number, not advice obviously

does temperature of the bac water matter at all

SN

the vacuum will pull it in. let it. fighting it is how you get a face full of aerosol

SN

the meniscus thing is real. read it at eye level or you are guessing by a unit either way, your mileage will differ

BB

label the date too. you will not remember which vial is which by week 31
i was wrong about this last year: it is fine to draw cold, it just stings more going in
