why does everyone say 2ml specifically and not 1ml

right, 5mg vial 5mg in 2ml gives 2.5mg/ml, 0.25mg is 10 units. good for a starting dose, that is the whole trick really

5mg in 1ml is 5mg/ml, so 0.5mg is 10 units. cleanest small vial numbers there are

i weigh the vial empty and full now. it took one bad fill to make that habit stick

i reconstitute one vial at a time and it has never cost me anything except a few minutes

dead space in a standard insulin syringe hub is small but it is not nothing over a month, your vial may fill differently

draw with a bigger pin and inject with a fresh one if the stopper is tough, but count the dead space, the pinned calculator agrees
