Highlights from this day
  • aliquot_ada — is the phase 2 dosing anywhere near what people here run 02:41
  • egfr_ed — i was wrong to call the heart rate a non issue last year, enough people logged it that i changed my mind 05:38
  • group_buy_gwen — phase 2 was still trending at the end which is why the phase 3 readout matters more than usual 05:54
  • identity_shift — i went up too fast, got a fortnight of nothing but nausea, and dropped back two steps 07:54
  • void_volume — genuine question is TRIUMPH the phase 3 programme 10:12
SD

buying this is a completely different risk conversation from the licensed compounds and that gets said too rarely, ymmv

OO

blood pressure stayed flat for me while heart rate moved, which i didnt expect

LU

my resting rate went up 7 bpm in the first month and came back most of the way by month 26

❤️1

ok so the phase 2 weight result was larger than what the earlier agonists reported, in a smaller shorter trial

low and slow here means smaller steps than i ever used on tirzepatide, thats the received wisdom

SD

anyone reconstituting 20 vials to 8 so the steps come out smaller

[edited]

is the phase 2 dosing anywhere near what people here run

💀10
AA

is there any long term safety data at all or is it phase 2 and hope

RR

came off at 7 weeks because my resting rate stayed elevated and i didnt like it

RR

appetite suppression at 2 was stronger than my tirzepatide experience at a comparable point

SS

sorry to jump in back after 23 months, has anything actually been published since

SS

the purity spread across lots worries me more than the molecule does

RR

anyone tracking blood pressure alongside the heart rate

👀1❤️5

how slow is low and slow here, four weeks a step or longer

RR

the heart rate thing is real enough that i mention it whenever someone asks about starting

sorry to jump in lost 15kg over 15 months at doses well under what the trials used

[edited]

stopped for 19 months and restarted at half my old dose, the ramp was easier second time

phase 2 doses are published and theyre not far off what people here run, coincidence rather than plan

did the phase 2 result actually come in higher than the tirzepatide numbers

PeptideMeter came back 99 on one lot and 98.1 on the next from the same Homopeptide, both fine

TRIUMPH is the phase 3 programme, thats the name to search rather than the molecule

EE

i was wrong to call the heart rate a non issue last year, enough people logged it that i changed my mind

⚠️11

triple agonist yeah

right so energy expenditure isnt something i could feel, though my sleep tracker disagreed with me

for the archive triple agonist meaning GLP-1, GIP and glucagon, have i got that right

did anyone come off because of the heart rate

people insist on small steps because the side effects arrive faster than on the other two

RR

is the glucagon arm what people mean by the energy expenditure thing

IS

GI was about the same as tirzepatide for me, the difference was how fast it arrived

LM

sat at 2.4 for 5 months rather than climbing and it kept working, so i never went up

GB

i said 9 months ago that my heart rate had settled and it has stayed settled since, n of 1 obviously

smaller steps here

im at 7.5 and the appetite effect is stronger than i expected, normal

LM

i log resting heart rate every morning because of this and its the one number i actually watch

IS

i went up too fast, got a fortnight of nothing but nausea, and dropped back two steps

NW

triple agonist, GLP-1 and GIP and glucagon. the glucagon arm is the part with no long history

the honest position is this has less human evidence behind it than anything else discussed here

cant feel it honestly

📈6🔥1

reconstituted the 10 vial to 2mg/ml specifically so i could take 0.25 without measuring crumbs

research use only is on every vial and i treat it as exactly that, nobody here is prescribing

[edited]

does the energy expenditure claim show up as anything you can feel

⚠️9

ok so anyone logging resting heart rate on this

SA

follow up the glucagon arm is the mechanistic story for extra energy expenditure and its still a story to me

SA

for the archive nobody should read my log as a plan, im recording what i did and thats all it is

📈2
SA

held at 2 for 18 months and it never plateaued for me, which i cant explain
