Highlights from this day
  • comment_fatigue — sat at 2 for 5 months rather than climbing and it kept working, so i never went up 11:23
  • comment_fatigue — triple agonist, GLP-1 and GIP and glucagon. the glucagon arm is the part with no long history 11:24
  • sharps_bin_sid — VendorInvestigate came back 98.6 on one lot and 98.1 on the next from the same ERP, both fine 13:16
CF

follow up the glucagon arm is the mechanistic story for extra energy expenditure and its still a story to me

PN

stopped for 21 months and restarted at half my old dose, the ramp was easier second time

CF

energy expenditure isnt something i could feel, though my sleep tracker disagreed with me

stepping in 0.5 increments instead of doubling is the only thing i would change if i started again, not advice obviously

whats a sensible starting point, im seeing everything from 0.5 to 2

FD

slightly off topic but TRIUMPH is the phase 3 programme, thats the name to search rather than the molecule

CF

the honest position is this has less human evidence behind it than anything else discussed here

i said 7 months ago that my heart rate had settled and it has stayed settled since
the honest position is this has less human evidence behind it than anything else discussed here

FD

i was wrong to call the heart rate a non issue last year, enough people logged it that i changed my mind

PS

right so the half life supports weekly dosing and thats what ive done from the start

CF

slightly off topic but anyone tracking blood pressure alongside the heart rate
GI was about the same as tirzepatide for me, the difference was how fast it arrived

CF

the heart rate thing is real enough that i mention it whenever someone asks about starting
no idea whether the heart rate settles for everyone, mine did and one log isnt data

held at 10 for 14 months and it never plateaued for me, which i cant explain
i log resting heart rate every morning because of this and its the one number i actually watch

sat at 2 for 5 months rather than climbing and it kept working, so i never went up

triple agonist, GLP-1 and GIP and glucagon. the glucagon arm is the part with no long history

phase 2 only

anyone compared their VendorInvestigate purity across two different KP lots

SB

research use only is on every vial and i treat it as exactly that, nobody here is prescribing, ymmv

my resting rate went up 5 bpm in the first month and came back most of the way by month 15

low and slow

VB

Channel stats, last 30 days: 115 messages from 56 members.

TT

did the phase 2 result actually come in higher than the tirzepatide numbers

SB

low and slow here means smaller steps than i ever used on tirzepatide, thats the received wisdom

TY

people insist on small steps because the side effects arrive faster than on the other two
