does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life

- ferritin_fay — does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt 11:08
- customs_owl — ok so my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem 12:00
- bpc_sceptic — was SURMOUNT-1 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up 13:56
- VialBot — Purity check: no report on file for lot C-4402. Nothing logged either way. 15:45
- ferritin_fay — anyone compared their 10 vial dosing against the pen increments 19:32
my Janoshik report on the TFC vial came back 98.6 against a certificate saying 96.8
does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
sorry to jump in i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed
while im here vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
SELECT wasnt weight
held there too
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution, thats one data point
i stayed on 1.7 for 25 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 1, which is one person and nothing more
went too fast once
does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
give it four weeks
slower worked better
went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step, happy to be corrected
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
back after 17 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher
[edited]ok so my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem
is 2.4 the top or do people go past it
how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7
FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
£94 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
restarted after 13 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time, ymmv
not the same trial
coming back to this moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me
3 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down, happy to be corrected
was SURMOUNT-1 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up
held at 2.5 and lost 12lb over 4 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
my 30 vial in 1.5ml gives 5mg/ml so 2.4 lands on 5 units, thats why i picked that volume
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers
did anyone hold at 15 longer than four weeks before going up
vials not pens here
steady state takes weeks
the appetite effect faded for me around 22 months and going up fixed it for a while
follow up SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial
Purity check: no report on file for lot C-4402. Nothing logged either way.
im 16 months in at 2 and the appetite effect faded, is that a thing
i held at 0.5 for 7 months and it was the best decision i made, someone check my working
im at 5 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything
vials not pens here
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
