whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers
#semaglutide 2025-03-29
- protein_floor — i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication, ill dig out the number 22:51
- retention_time — SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial 22:54
- retention_time — my VendorInvestigate report on the ERP vial came back 96.8 against a certificate saying 97.4 22:55
- retention_time — did anyone hold at 0.25 longer than four weeks before going up 23:05
- pharmac_pen — did anybody find a difference between SSA and pharmacy at the same 2.5 23:23
ok so is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping
was SURMOUNT-1 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up
how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7
steady state takes weeks
vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
vials not pens here
my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem
SELECT wasnt weight
im 26 months in at 0.5 and the appetite effect faded, is that a thing
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
anyone gone from 2.5 straight to 12 or is that too big a jump
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
held there too
[edited]sorry to jump in STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
not the same trial
plateaus move
lost about 31kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me
$185 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication, ill dig out the number
does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial
my VendorInvestigate report on the ERP vial came back 96.8 against a certificate saying 97.4
quick one how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel
went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step
the plateau hit me at 21 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
did anyone hold at 0.25 longer than four weeks before going up
how long did the first 16kg take for people at the low doses
Inter-lab diff for lot A-2418: 96.8% vs 99.2%. Within expected range.
is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4
i held at 0.5 for 4 months and it was the best decision i made
did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
went too fast once
did anybody find a difference between SSA and pharmacy at the same 2.5
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one
i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything
*that should say weekly
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
