- no_appetite_nia — quick one anyone compared their 5 vial dosing against the pen increments 13:38
- no_appetite_nia — right so is the plateau at 27 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong 14:02
- half_life_hal — the plateau hit me at 20 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my… 14:03
- two_three_lifts — moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me 15:24
- no_appetite_nia — held at 0.25 and lost 13lb over 12 months, slower than the trials and fine by me i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that 16:55
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
same dose day
slower worked better
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication, thats one data point
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
right so is the plateau at 27 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong
the plateau hit me at 20 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg2.4 is the ceiling
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers, ymmv
seven days ish
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
vials not pens here
not the same trial
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
the appetite effect faded for me around 2 months and going up fixed it for a while
how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week
went too fast once
did anyone hold at 2.5 longer than four weeks before going up
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
*PeptideMeter not the other one
my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything
moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
is 2.4 the top or do people go past it
does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 7.5, which is one person and nothing more
did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed
£120 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem
steady state takes weeks
half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
mine faded too
[edited]how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7
while im here did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
held at 0.25 and lost 13lb over 12 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
thats STEP 1
my VendorInvestigate report on the SSA vial came back 99.4 against a certificate saying 98.1
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
[edited]the appetite effect faded for me around 10 months and going up fixed it for a while
SELECT wasnt weight
