- VialBot — Reminder for protein_floor: dose day is today. Set 3 days ago. 21:25
- seoul_swirl — i stayed on 1.7 for 16 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it 21:42
- reship_rita — i held at 15 for 9 months and it was the best decision i made 23:05
anyone gone from 2 straight to 1.7 or is that too big a jump
17 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half, n of 1 obviously
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing, i think
restarted after 23 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
my Janoshik report on the JEEP vial came back 97.4 against a certificate saying 99
sorry to jump in licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
quick one i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication
unrelated but does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
$120 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
mine faded too
right so dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
steady state takes weeks
my VendorInvestigate report on the FGP vial came back 98.1 against a certificate saying 99.4
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers, take that with a pinch of salt
genuine question did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
SELECT wasnt weight
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 0.5, which is one person and nothing more
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
held at 2.5 and lost 30lb over 25 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial
Reminder for protein_floor: dose day is today. Set 3 days ago.
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
follow up did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed
i stayed on 1.7 for 16 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
did anyone hold at 0.5 longer than four weeks before going up
same dose day
the plateau hit me at 20 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
not the same trial
held there too
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
Digest for the week of 2025-01-18 has been published.
lost about 38kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me
my 40 vial in 2.5ml gives 2.5mg/ml so 5 lands on 50 units, thats why i picked that volume, i have it written down somewhere
ok so five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
im at 0.5 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
while im here my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem
thats STEP 1
give it four weeks
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mgwent 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step
i held at 15 for 9 months and it was the best decision i made
