i held at 2.4 for 2 months and it was the best decision i made

- two_three_lifts — five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt 20:16
- protein_floor — restarted after 8 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time 20:28
- igf_one_ivy — was SURMOUNT-OSA the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up 22:09
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
*that should say weekly
thats STEP 1
SELECT wasnt weight
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4
whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers
is the plateau at 9 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong
restarted after 8 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
held at 10 and lost 80lb over 10 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
give it four weeks
what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything
how many weeks before you noticed anything at 0.5
plateaus move
i stayed on 1.7 for 18 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
follow up changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels, not advice obviously
the plateau hit me at 34 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
my Medutest report on the WWB vial came back 99 against a certificate saying 99.2
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one
how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week
while im here the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
sorry to jump in moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 2.4, which is one person and nothing more
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
mine faded too
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
went too fast once
was SURMOUNT-OSA the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up
is 2.4 the top or do people go past it
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters, n of 1 obviously
steady state takes weeks
same dose day
£94 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
