reship policies vary enormously. CPC honoured one for me without being pushed, which is not universal
a port stall is not the same as a customs hold and the tracking language usually distinguishes them

is vat charged on the declared value or what they think it is worth

paying for a faster service does not speed up customs. it speeds up the legs either side of customs, i think

18 days to Japan with working tracking the whole way is at the good end of what i have seen

ask about reship

CH

i have lost 5 parcels in three years across a lot of orders. that is the actual rate for me

SS

ok so i had a parcel marked returned that arrived eleven days later. it happens

BD

the parcel is the risk you accepted. that is worth remembering before it becomes a crisis, ymmv

CH

vat is usually charged on declared value plus shipping, and the handling fee is often more than the vat

BD

split shipments arriving weeks apart is normal and is usually a stock thing, not a customs thing

SS

i declare it as what it is at a low value. we do not discuss wording beyond that here

CH

anyone had a split shipment arrive weeks apart
if you query a missing parcel, be factual and patient. the good suppliers respond to that

[edited]

handling fee is the killer

CH

the same address every time is fine. a different address every time looks worse, not better

*VendorInvestigate not the other one

BB

update from 1 months ago: Poland transit has got slower, consistently, across four orders

BD

the transit table is pinned and built from what members actually reported, not from what suppliers quote

nobody here can tell you what will clear customs where you live and the mods stop that conversation quickly

thats the end of it

winter shipping into a cold country risks freezing, which is a different problem from heat and gets discussed less, for what its worth

BB

declared value, do you go low or realistic

thats normal transit

a seizure letter is usually the end of it. you have lost the parcel and that is almost always the whole consequence

coming back to this does FGP actually honour a reship or is it decorative

tracking has been dark for 6 days, at what point do i worry

HS

postal has been better than courier for me every single time. couriers are more thorough

HS

DV

what happened when you queried a missing parcel with the supplier

d0 label created
d2 accepted, origin
d4 departed origin
d6 in transit
d6-16 nothing at all
d17 arrived destination country
d19 customs cleared
d21 delivered

do you use the same address every time

9 days to Ireland with working tracking the whole way is at the good end of what i have seen

T5

parcel is sitting at a port with no movement, is that customs or just a port
