Jianxiang testing a retained vial is interesting
retained samples are standard practice for anyone with a real QC function. they keep vials from every lot so they can check a complaint against something
a vendor who can pull a retain and test it is telling you something real about their operation
Hubei Jianxiang did that for me in april and sent me the trace from the retain. it matched the original certificate

it is, with the caveat that it is a small number and self-selected, and the one failure was traced to the lot rather than the heat
