TO

tracking going dark for a week or ten days at a port is common and resolves on its own most of the time

CC

the parcel is the risk you accepted. that is worth remembering before it becomes a crisis

CO

summer into a hot country is the risk. order in a cooler month if you have the choice

MG

4 days to the Netherlands with working tracking the whole way is at the good end of what i have seen

TT

nobody here can tell you what will clear customs where you live and the mods stop that conversation quickly

TO

unrelated but cold pack arrived warm after 26 days, does it matter

PM

genuine question signature requirements slow things down and do not obviously reduce loss

update on the earlier thing paying for a faster service does not speed up customs. it speeds up the legs either side of customs

customs charge came to £38, is that normal for Japan

CC

i have lost 9 parcels in three years across a lot of orders. that is the actual rate for me

PM

winter shipping into a cold country risks freezing, which is a different problem from heat and gets discussed less

TT

reship policies vary enormously. SSA honoured one for me without being pushed, which is not universal
i have lost 8 parcels in three years across a lot of orders. that is the actual rate for me

PM

tracking has been dark for 5 days, at what point do i worry

d0 label created
d2 accepted, origin
d4 departed origin
d6 in transit
d6-16 nothing at all
d17 arrived destination country
d19 customs cleared
d21 delivered
PM

follow up has anyone had a parcel arrive after being marked as returned

sorry to jump in a liquid cold pack tells you it was above freezing, not that the vial cooked. lyophilised powder is robust
