#side-effects 2024-11-26

Tuesday12 messages3 participantstimes are UTC
Highlights from this day
  • peak_split — escalation is when most of the trouble happens, not the absolute dose, happy to be corrected 17:02
  • ferrous_ash — slightly off topic but do you tell your prescriber about the small stuff or only the big stuff 17:17
  • ferrous_ash — i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern 17:51
  • week_three_wall — let the alcohol dry before you inject. that alone fixes a lot of the stinging 20:25
PS

escalation is when most of the trouble happens, not the absolute dose, happy to be corrected

FA

slightly off topic but do you tell your prescriber about the small stuff or only the big stuff

dose day = d0
0.25mg nothing much
0.50mg d1-d2 mild
1.00mg d1-d3 moderate
1.70mg d1-d2 moderate, d4 fine
2.40mg d1 rough, gone by d3
PS

do you drop back a dose for side effects or push through

FA

if a side effect is new and severe rather than familiar and annoying, that is the line

FA

i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern

⚠️4👀2❤️1

is it the dose or the escalation that causes the nausea

FA

reflux getting worse is documented enough that it is worth mentioning to a prescriber

PS

a lot of what people call fatigue on this stuff turns out to be dehydration or undereating

magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption

PS

has anyone had a side effect that got worse at a lower dose
