Highlights from this day
  • vialkeeper — is the nausea meant to be worst around day 8 or is that just me 22:40
  • gall_bladder_gav — the sulphur burps seem to track fatty meals for a lot of people here, including me 22:57
  • forty_five_kg — protein and iron are worth checking if the hair thing is dragging on past six months, we shall see 23:09
  • gall_bladder_gav — nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking 23:42

if you are under 1000 calories by accident that is a problem, not discipline

GB

water first, then fibre, then magnesium, then a softener, then a pharmacist. in that order

it does stop

has anyone had reflux specifically get worse rather than better

how long did it take for the GI stuff to actually settle for you

slightly off topic but do you drop back a dose for side effects or push through

coming back after 25 months off: do the side effects reset

update from 13 months ago: the nausea did settle, around week seven, completely

my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline, i have it written down somewhere

sorry to jump in powering through is how people quit entirely. reducing is how people stay on it

sulphur burps. is there anything at all that helps

what did your gallbladder symptoms actually feel like before it got diagnosed

started shedding hair around month 5, does it stop

MP

unrelated but dropping back a rung for a fortnight is a completely legitimate move, your mileage will differ

let the swab dry

eating small and often was the only thing that made the first month liveable for me

the hiccups are real, nobody knows why, they seem to fade after a few doses

eat more

VI

slightly off topic but i lost my gallbladder in 2024 and i tell people that not to frighten them but because slowing down is free

fibre before pills

the shed usually starts month three to four and usually stops. it tracks how fast you are losing

im at week 14 and eating maybe 900 calories without trying to, is that a problem

MP

reflux getting worse is documented enough that it is worth mentioning to a prescriber

VI

nausea is usually worst somewhere in the first 24 to 72 hours after the dose and then eases

a lot of what people call fatigue on this stuff turns out to be dehydration or undereating

severe persistent pain radiating to the back, or repeated vomiting you cannot keep water down through, is not a chat question

GB

nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking
