dropping back a rung for a fortnight is a completely legitimate move

protein and iron are worth checking if the hair thing is dragging on past six months, for what its worth

eating small and often was the only thing that made the first month liveable for me

GG

nausea is usually worst somewhere in the first 24 to 72 hours after the dose and then eases

QH

powering through is how people quit entirely. reducing is how people stay on it

electrolytes made more difference to my fatigue than anything else i tried

if a side effect is new and severe rather than familiar and annoying, that is the line

U1

slightly off topic but reflux getting worse is documented enough that it is worth mentioning to a prescriber

if you have stopped enjoying food entirely and are not eating, say so, we will help you build meals, i could be wrong

QH

week 27 and still nauseous, at what point is this not going to settle

do you tell your prescriber about the small stuff or only the big stuff

HH

the sulphur burps seem to track fatty meals for a lot of people here, including me

dose day = d0
0.25mg nothing much
0.50mg d1-d2 mild
1.00mg d1-d3 moderate
1.70mg d1-d2 moderate, d4 fine
2.40mg d1 rough, gone by d3

everything tastes metallic since i went up, does that settle

HH

anyone had the fatigue turn out to be something boring like not drinking enough

ginger did nothing for me and worked for two other people here. thats where the evidence is at

same at week 3

GG

escalation is when most of the trouble happens, not the absolute dose, thats one data point

VB

Reminder set. I will post here in 3 days.

GG

how do you cope with the smell of food when nothing is appealing

VO

a lot of what people call fatigue on this stuff turns out to be dehydration or undereating

[edited]

genuine question the shed usually starts month three to four and usually stops. it tracks how fast you are losing

VO

right upper side pain on and off for a week, should i be worried

🧪7❤️8

the dose day matters more than the dose for the GI stuff, at least for me

VO

update from 6 months ago: the nausea did settle, around week seven, completely

GG

site itching is common and rotation fixed it for most people i have seen post about it, someone check my working

19:51quiet.hours pinned a message

sorry youre having a rough one

QH

has anyone had reflux specifically get worse rather than better

PN

magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption

follow up my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline

HH

let the alcohol dry before you inject. that alone fixes a lot of the stinging

PN

nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking
