#side-effects 2025-05-21
- tablet_tam — week 8 and still nauseous, at what point is this not going to settle 18:49
- cagri_curious — im at week 11 and eating maybe 900 calories without trying to, is that a problem 19:18
- hair_month_four — do you tell your prescriber about the small stuff or only the big stuff 20:30
- logrotate — everything tastes metallic since i went up, does that settle 23:24
unrelated but eating small and often was the only thing that made the first month liveable for me, take that with a pinch of salt
thats not a chat question
week 8 and still nauseous, at what point is this not going to settle
started shedding hair around month 3, does it stop
water first, then fibre, then magnesium, then a softener, then a pharmacist. in that order
is a bit of bruising at the site something or nothing
is it the dose or the escalation that causes the nausea
if you have stopped enjoying food entirely and are not eating, say so, we will help you build meals, your mileage will differ
a lot of what people call fatigue on this stuff turns out to be dehydration or undereating
update from 26 months ago: the nausea did settle, around week seven, completely
hope it settles
unrelated but is the nausea meant to be worst around day 8 or is that just me
magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption
unrelated but dropping back a rung for a fortnight is a completely legitimate move
im at week 11 and eating maybe 900 calories without trying to, is that a problem
anyone found the fatigue lifted when they fixed their protein
[edited]slightly off topic but anyone get properly wiped out for a day or two after the dose
eat more
that settles
site itching is common and rotation fixed it for most people i have seen post about it
my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline
has anyone had reflux specifically get worse rather than better
right upper side pain on and off for a week, should i be worried
escalation is when most of the trouble happens, not the absolute dose
ginger did nothing for me and worked for two other people here. thats where the evidence is at
drop a rung
has anyone had a side effect that got worse at a lower dose
magnesium
protein and iron are worth checking if the hair thing is dragging on past six months
coming back to this my resting heart rate is up about 2 bpm, is that a known thing
please get seen
do you tell your prescriber about the small stuff or only the big stuff
what did your gallbladder symptoms actually feel like before it got diagnosed
i lost my gallbladder in 2024 and i tell people that not to frighten them but because slowing down is free, i have it written down somewhere
the hiccups are real, nobody knows why, they seem to fade after a few doses
whats actually worked for anyone on the constipation, ive tried everything
it does stop
unrelated but the burps started at 2.4 and not before, has anyone else had that
hiccups. every single time. why
nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking
quick one nausea is usually worst somewhere in the first 24 to 72 hours after the dose and then eases
day two is the worst
how long did it take for the GI stuff to actually settle for you
water first
if you are under 1000 calories by accident that is a problem, not discipline
it got better for me
the dose day matters more than the dose for the GI stuff, at least for me
everything tastes metallic since i went up, does that settle
