Highlights from this day
  • halifax_hplc — powering through is how people quit entirely. reducing is how people stay on it, happy to be corrected 03:56
  • halifax_hplc — i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern, i could be wrong 06:31
  • halifax_hplc — what did your gallbladder symptoms actually feel like before it got diagnosed 06:37
  • non_scale_win — started shedding hair around month 6, does it stop 10:15
NT

genuine question, at what point does this stop being tolerable and start being a reason to stop

NT

the shed usually starts month three to four and usually stops. it tracks how fast you are losing

nausea is usually worst somewhere in the first 24 to 72 hours after the dose and then eases, from memory

HH

eating small and often was the only thing that made the first month liveable for me

quick one the dose day matters more than the dose for the GI stuff, at least for me, thats just me

dropping back a rung for a fortnight is a completely legitimate move

NT

new severe right upper quadrant pain after fast weight loss is a get seen situation

[edited]

my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline

NT

escalation is when most of the trouble happens, not the absolute dose

UU

while im here i had gallstones confirmed on a scan after losing quickly. slow down if you can
magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption

NT

slightly off topic but water first, then fibre, then magnesium, then a softener, then a pharmacist. in that order

OO

rotate the site

HH

a lot of what people call fatigue on this stuff turns out to be dehydration or undereating
if you are under 1000 calories by accident that is a problem, not discipline

HH

i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern, i could be wrong

DO

nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking, from memory

UU

while im here update from 25 months ago: the nausea did settle, around week seven, completely, thats one data point

OO

is there a reason nausea is worse if i skip breakfast
magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption

hiccups. every single time. why
