Highlights from this day
  • peak_split — do you tell your prescriber about the small stuff or only the big stuff 16:24
  • rotate_the_site — i had gallstones confirmed on a scan after losing quickly. slow down if you can 17:06
  • rotate_the_site — magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption 17:51
  • hot_mailbox — my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline, for what its worth 19:04
PS

a lot of what people call fatigue on this stuff turns out to be dehydration or undereating

PS

nobody here can tell you whether a symptom is serious. we can tell you the ones that are always worth checking

do you tell your prescriber about the small stuff or only the big stuff

water first, then fibre, then magnesium, then a softener, then a pharmacist. in that order, i could be wrong

PS

the hiccups are real, nobody knows why, they seem to fade after a few doses

escalation is when most of the trouble happens, not the absolute dose, thats one data point

PS

started shedding hair around month 10, does it stop
if you are under 1000 calories by accident that is a problem, not discipline

i had gallstones confirmed on a scan after losing quickly. slow down if you can

dose day = d0
0.25mg nothing much
0.50mg d1-d2 mild
1.00mg d1-d3 moderate
1.70mg d1-d2 moderate, d4 fine
2.40mg d1 rough, gone by d3

i lost my gallbladder in 2024 and i tell people that not to frighten them but because slowing down is free

PP

update from 24 months ago: the nausea did settle, around week seven, completely

RT

magnesium citrate worked for me where oxide did nothing. that might just be absorption

ok so if you have stopped enjoying food entirely and are not eating, say so, we will help you build meals

how long did it take for the GI stuff to actually settle for you

HM

let the alcohol dry before you inject. that alone fixes a lot of the stinging
if a side effect is new and severe rather than familiar and annoying, that is the line

my resting heart rate went up a few bpm and stayed there. worth logging from baseline, for what its worth

i keep a one line note per day. it is the only way i could see the pattern

HM

the sulphur burps seem to track fatty meals for a lot of people here, including me

CC

is there a reason nausea is worse if i skip breakfast

is a bit of bruising at the site something or nothing

CC

what did your gallbladder symptoms actually feel like before it got diagnosed
