i freeze aliquots and have had them test fine afterwards. others here would not do it and i understand why

i have never had a lyophilised vial fail after a warm transit and i have had some bad ones

buy a thermometer. mine reads 4 on the door and two degrees lower at the back
what temperature does a domestic fridge door actually swing to
reconstituted solution is the fragile part. that is where the cold chain actually earns its keep, from memory
nobody here can tell you a vial is safe. we can tell you what has and has not survived for us
a liquid cold pack tells you it was above freezing, not that your vial cooked

hotel minibars are frequently not cold enough. i take a thermometer, which is ridiculous and also correct, your mileage will differ

lyophilised powder is genuinely robust. a warm transit is far less likely to matter than people fear
powder is robust
the door swings four or five degrees every time somebody opens it. the back barely moves
for flying, hand luggage every time. the hold is not temperature controlled the way people assume, for what its worth
the practical risk in winter shipping is freezing, and in summer it is heat. plan for the season you are in

i left a reconstituted vial out overnight once, sent it for testing out of curiosity, it came back fine

power cut for 8 hours, fridge stayed shut, am i fine
