i have logged results that disagreed with each other by more than i expected and both labs were reputable, four lots before i would say anything

know the method first

blind at the point of the lab is what matters. the organiser knowing is a different and smaller problem, verify it before you rely on it

pooled submissions cost less each and carry the same weight as long as the labelling was clean, logged either way
