Highlights from this day
  • cold_chain_cmdr — how long before the dual thing was noticeable to you 13:04
  • blind_submit — genuine question SURMOUNT was the weight programme and SURPASS was diabetes, thats the split people mix up, for what its worth 15:39
  • karl_fischer — i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me 15:44
  • karl_fischer — went back to semaglutide after 25 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI 15:49
  • karl_fischer — i sat at 7.5 for 26 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from 15:50
NT

no clean conversion

wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)
AP

dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line, happy to be corrected

folklore probably

AP

the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact

[edited]

15 is the top

anyone tracked whether the GI difference held at the top doses

the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works

CC

restarted at 2.5 after 26 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists

KF

changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome

anyone got a 2 recon they like for the 2 vials

CC

for the archive GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect

SH

if youre coming off semaglutide the honest answer is start low and find out, theres no table

AO

5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me

U1

€240 for a 40 vial is roughly what ive paid for the last year, i have it written down somewhere

U1

the 2.5 to 5 step was the roughest one for me and everything after was easier

AO

40 units of a 2.5 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time
