SURMOUNT is weight

- peak_split — sorry to jump in 40 units of a 10 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time 18:15
- point_two_five — went back to semaglutide after 15 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI 18:41
- back_from_away — did anyone find the GI easier than semaglutide at an equivalent effect 20:37
- blind_submit — the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found, ask me again in a month switched from 2 semaglutide and started at 2.5,… 20:39
start low anyway
switched from 0.25 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it
does the appetite effect feel different or just stronger
coming back to this licensed top is 15 weekly, past that is not a licensed dose and nobody here can tell you what it does
5 did nothing
sorry to jump in 40 units of a 10 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time
the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works
changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome
SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted
went back to semaglutide after 15 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI
ok so at 12 my appetite is gone entirely, did anyone go down rather than up
is the 30 vial the common one or do people use 10
how did people handle the 2.5 to 5 jump
dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line, take that with a pinch of salt
15 is the top
if youre coming off semaglutide the honest answer is start low and find out, theres no table
titrate slow
why does everyone talk about 7.5 and not 10
plateaued at 29 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific, someone check my working
the 5 vial in 2.5ml gives 2.5mg/ml which puts 10 on 50 units, nice round numbers
easier gi for me
did anyone find the GI easier than semaglutide at an equivalent effect
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found, ask me again in a month
switched from 2 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it
folklore probably
i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me
switched last year
back after 12 months, do i restart at 2.5 or pick up near where i left off
right so anyone got a 10 recon they like for the 20 vials
held 10 for 10 months and lost 45kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine
does the GIP arm actually explain the easier nausea or is that hand waving
same plateau here
