Highlights from this day
  • deadspace — dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line 13:37
  • dublin_dose — 5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me 13:43
  • dublin_dose — sorry to jump in back after 24 months, do i restart at 2.5 or pick up near where i left off 13:45
  • deadspace — 40 units of a 4 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time 14:44
DE

anyone tracked whether the GI difference held at the top doses

🙏3

i sat at 7.5 for 12 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from

*Janoshik not the other one

RR

the trials titrated every four weeks to a target, most people here stop at whatever works

BR

while im here went back to semaglutide after 9 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI
GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect

restarted at 2.5 after 3 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists

switched from 12 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it

DE

did anyone find the GI easier than semaglutide at an equivalent effect
the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 9

DD

the 10 vial in 1ml gives 5mg/ml which puts 1 on 50 units, nice round numbers
switched from 1.7 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it

SURMOUNT is weight

5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me

wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)

genuine question 12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later

SURMOUNT was the weight programme and SURPASS was diabetes, thats the split people mix up

DE

is there a reason to titrate slower than the four week schedule

SF

the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar

[edited]

the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found

DE

40 units of a 4 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time

SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted

DE

$94 for a 20 vial is roughly what ive paid for the last year
