Highlights from this day
  • wrong_network — if youre coming off semaglutide the honest answer is start low and find out, theres no table 20:15
  • first_and_last_four — plateaued at 4 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific 21:07
  • factory_direct_fi — coming back to this switched from 2.4 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it 21:10
GG

the 2.5 to 5 step was the roughest one for me and everything after was easier, for what its worth

im at 0.25 and thinking about 12, did anyone gain anything from that step

wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)

does the GIP arm actually explain the easier nausea or is that hand waving

FD

went back to semaglutide after 26 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI

FA

my PeptideMeter result on a HJ vial came in at 98.1 which is why i keep buying from them
i sat at 7.5 for 15 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from

MM

dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line

HH

the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact

VV

i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did

VV

40 units of a 5 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time

WN

if youre coming off semaglutide the honest answer is start low and find out, theres no table

WN

at 7.5 my appetite went completely and i dropped back a step, eating nothing isnt a win

🎉3💀5

did going from 0.25 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone

quick one the sweet spot argument is really about effect per side effect, not a magic number

WN

the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar

back after 20 months, do i restart at 2.5 or pick up near where i left off

i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me

SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted

📈1

no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later

FA

licensed top is 15 weekly, past that is not a licensed dose and nobody here can tell you what it does

does switching from semaglutide need a gap or do you just start

changed my mind about needing 15, i was chasing a number rather than an outcome

HH

12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later

FA

plateaued at 4 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific

😂3👍13📉13

coming back to this switched from 2.4 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it

wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)
WN

i sat at 7.5 for 13 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from

RS

SURMOUNT was the weight programme and SURPASS was diabetes, thats the split people mix up
switched from 15 semaglutide and started at 2.5, took the slow route, never regretted it

right so did anyone find the GI easier than semaglutide at an equivalent effect

the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found
