GIP plus GLP-1

- ghk_gia — did going from 5 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone 21:53
- ghk_gia — 40 units of a 4 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line 21:58
- net_peptide — how long before the dual thing was noticeable to you 22:20
- yyz_vial — SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted 22:26
- provincial_pat — why does everyone talk about 7.5 and not 10 22:54
€72 for a 2 vial is roughly what ive paid for the last year
5 did nothing
did going from 5 semaglutide to 5 of this feel like a step down for anyone
went back to semaglutide after 8 months because the cost difference mattered more than the GI, take that with a pinch of salt
40 units of a 4 solution is a lot of volume and i check that one twice every single time
dual agonist, GIP as well as GLP-1, thats the whole difference in one line
no gap when i switched, took the last semaglutide dose and started this a week later
the switch felt like a step down at first and then caught up around week 34
easier gi for me
the GI difference held for me right up to 15, which isnt what a couple of people here found
SURMOUNT-1 versus SURPASS-2, which one was the weight trial
i sat at 7.5 for 24 months and never needed more, which is where the folklore comes from, thats one data point
how long before the dual thing was noticeable to you
wk 1-4 2.5mg
wk 5-8 5.0mg
wk 9-20 7.5mg <- stayed here
wk 21-24 10.0mg (no extra benefit for me)
wk 25+ 7.5mg (came back down)SURMOUNT-OSA was the sleep apnoea trial and it is not a weight headline however its quoted
5 was where i first noticed it properly, 2.5 did almost nothing for me
sorry to jump in the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar
at 15 the GI came back for me, so my easier profile claim only applies below that
New independent result logged — QST, lot D-0718, purity 99% (Janoshik).
i log everything and my appetite curve looks flatter across the week than my semaglutide log did
the GIP explanation for easier nausea is plausible and i still treat it as a story not a fact, take that with a pinch of salt
held 10 for 24 months and lost 11kg over that stretch, slow and boring and fine
why does everyone talk about 7.5 and not 10
[edited]did anyone go past 15 and was there any point to it
GI was noticeably easier for me than semaglutide at what felt like the same appetite effect
ok so licensed top is 15 weekly, past that is not a licensed dose and nobody here can tell you what it does
genuine question plateaued at 29 weeks the same way i did on semaglutide, so i doubt its compound specific
no clean conversion
[edited]i went to 15 and came back to 10, more suppression wasnt more useful for me, still working it out
the two compounds arent interchangeable week for week even if the effect ends up similar
12 did nothing extra over 10 for me and that still holds a year later, n of 1 obviously
restarted at 2.5 after 23 months off and the first two doses reminded me why titration exists
