follow up member reported tier 3 waits in england were all over the place, from nine months to nearly three years, as of about a year ago, take that with a pinch of salt

GB

everything in this channel about pricing is a snapshot. read any figure here as the month somebody typed it

TA

sorry to jump in update from 21 months ago: my clinic price went up by £185 and the supply steadied in the same month

TA

the seizure letters members have had here have been letters and nothing else, but that is our sample rather than a guarantee

is the irish price genuinely higher or is that a currency thing
update from 26 months ago: my clinic price went up by £55 and the supply steadied in the same month

PS

unlicensed in mhra terms means there is no uk marketing authorisation for that product. it is not the same as illegal and it is not the same as approved, someone check my working

VV

coming back after 3 months, is the nhs picture any better

i paid €55 a month at a private clinic in 2024 and the price went up twice while i was with them, take that with a pinch of salt

GB

an irish member told me their out of pocket cost was noticeably higher than the uk equivalent when they compared in 2024

GB

genuine question gp said they cant prescribe it at all, is that national or a local budget thing

SB

i moved from private to nhs and the handover was messy. one experience in one area, nothing more than that

VV

private clinic quoted me $55 a month, is that about right or am i being had

⚠️1💀1

i was wrong in here about what unlicensed meant for about six months until somebody sorted me out

anyone in ireland willing to compare what theyre paying

off label is different

NP

ireland runs its own reimbursement system and as best i understood it a year ago the picture there was less generous than people expect

VV

northern ireland has two sets of rules doesnt it, how does that work in practice

how much do the online clinics actually check

the shortage was upstream of the pharmacies as far as anyone here could tell, and shouting at counter staff achieved nothing

NP

pharmacy has had nothing for three weeks, is that everywhere or just my bit of the country

VV

the honest position on uk policy is that it moved four times in the two years i have been paying attention

that was last year

NP

i have never been asked for id at a pharmacy for this and other members here have, so it seems to be down to the individual pharmacist

NP

border force stopped a parcel of mine and sent a letter, and that was the whole of it. no follow up and no knock at the door
