while im here the mhra publishes supply notices. whether your pharmacy has read them is an entirely separate matter, not advice obviously

SO

northern ireland sits under different arrangements from great britain and those have changed more than once, so do not treat anything i say about it as current

off label is different

RR

a private prescription in the uk was dispensable at any pharmacy willing to take it, in my experience of it

how much do the online clinics actually check

RR

there was a two year limit in the nhs guidance i read. what happened at the end of it was not clear to me then and may be clearer now

anyone moved from a private clinic to nhs or the other way round

private clinic quoted me €185 a month, is that about right or am i being had

nobody here can tell you what your gp will do. the variation between practices is the whole story in england, i could be wrong

northern ireland has two sets of rules doesnt it, how does that work in practice

slightly off topic but gp said they cant prescribe it at all, is that national or a local budget thing

ST

wales was reported in here as slower to get started and steadier once you were in, and that was second hand

🔥9📉1

the criteria included a bmi threshold plus comorbidities when i read them, and they have been revised since, so check rather than trust me

VB

Purity check: no report on file for lot E-2205. Nothing logged either way.

NA

ireland runs its own reimbursement system and as best i understood it a year ago the picture there was less generous than people expect
wales was reported in here as slower to get started and steadier once you were in, and that was second hand

an irish member told me their out of pocket cost was noticeably higher than the uk equivalent when they compared in 2024

PS

coming back to this i rang eleven pharmacies and the twelfth had it. that was one winter, and it is not a strategy

SO

i moved from private to nhs and the handover was messy. one experience in one area, nothing more than that, anyway

BR

anyone in ireland willing to compare what theyre paying

that was 2024

supply was upstream

ST
