gp said they cant prescribe it at all, is that national or a local budget thing
border force stopped a parcel of mine and sent a letter, and that was the whole of it. no follow up and no knock at the door, thats one data point
whats the cheapest legitimate private route people have found in the uk
off label is different
mine was 18 months
the online clinics vary enormously in how much they check. one wanted a video call and photographs and one wanted almost nothing
member reported only
a private prescription in the uk was dispensable at any pharmacy willing to take it, in my experience of it
ring more pharmacies
scotland ran a different process from england when i looked into it, and a member there reported a shorter wait
coming back after 5 months, is the nhs picture any better
is the irish price genuinely higher or is that a currency thing
genuine question there was a two year limit in the nhs guidance i read. what happened at the end of it was not clear to me then and may be clearer now
northern ireland sits under different arrangements from great britain and those have changed more than once, so do not treat anything i say about it as current
anyone in ireland willing to compare what theyre paying
anyone in scotland or wales finding it different from england
i rang eleven pharmacies and the twelfth had it. that was one winter, and it is not a strategy
ni has its own rules
i would not repeat any of the nhs criteria as current fact, they were revised at least once since i last read them
while im here how long is the nhs specialist weight management wait where people are, mine was quoted at two years
the honest position on uk policy is that it moved four times in the two years i have been paying attention
anyone had a parcel stopped by border force and what actually happened next
i paid $94 a month at a private clinic in 2024 and the price went up twice while i was with them
Channel stats, last 30 days: 60 messages from 42 members.
i have never been asked for id at a pharmacy for this and other members here have, so it seems to be down to the individual pharmacist
northern ireland has two sets of rules doesnt it, how does that work in practice
what happens at the end of the two years on the nhs route
prices have moved since
the seizure letters members have had here have been letters and nothing else, but that is our sample rather than a guarantee
does anyone know whether the shortage list is public
ask your gp
ok so the tier 3 referral needed my gp to actually make it, and that turned out to be harder than meeting the criteria
unlicensed in mhra terms means there is no uk marketing authorisation for that product. it is not the same as illegal and it is not the same as approved
the private quotes i collected last spring ran from about 130 to about 250 a month depending on dose, and that will have moved since
member reported tier 3 waits in england were all over the place, from nine months to nearly three years, as of about a year ago, ask me again in a month
ireland runs its own reimbursement system and as best i understood it a year ago the picture there was less generous than people expect
driving never came up for me at all and i would ask a clinician rather than take my word on it
right so whats the position on driving, is there anything anyone had to declare
off label and unlicensed get used interchangeably in here and they are different. off label is a licensed product used outside its licence, anyway
right so is the picture in ireland completely separate on reimbursement
did anyone get through the nhs route and how long was it end to end
vat was not charged on the private prescription i saw, but i am the wrong person to ask about tax, someone check my working
i moved from private to nhs and the handover was messy. one experience in one area, nothing more than that
