coming back to this ireland runs its own reimbursement system and as best i understood it a year ago the picture there was less generous than people expect

northern ireland sits under different arrangements from great britain and those have changed more than once, so do not treat anything i say about it as current, ymmv
cheapest legitimate route i found was a pharmacy led online service, and cheapest is only one axis of that decision

coming back after 17 months, is the nhs picture any better

the criteria included a bmi threshold plus comorbidities when i read them, and they have been revised since, so check rather than trust me
did anyone get a tier 3 referral without a bmi over 35
is the pharmacy supply gap the manufacturer or the wholesalers
the tier 3 referral needed my gp to actually make it, and that turned out to be harder than meeting the criteria
is the picture in ireland completely separate on reimbursement
gp said they cant prescribe it at all, is that national or a local budget thing
i paid £120 a month at a private clinic in 2024 and the price went up twice while i was with them
mine was 18 months

i would not repeat any of the nhs criteria as current fact, they were revised at least once since i last read them
anyone in ireland willing to compare what theyre paying
the online clinics vary enormously in how much they check. one wanted a video call and photographs and one wanted almost nothing
