  • coa_or_cope — cheap per mg is not the same as good value. i have paid more twice and been glad both times 20:11
  • monoisotopic — sorry to jump in nobody here gets paid to say anything about any supplier and the mods would end me if i did 22:28
  • warsaw_vial — what packaging have people had from GL Biochem 22:38
LU

ask who actually makes it. about a third of suppliers answer honestly and that answer is worth a lot, thats one data point

LU

right so the room does not rank suppliers on price. it ranks them on whether what arrives matches what was described, your mileage will differ

coming back to this a reseller relabelling a synthesis house is a different risk profile from the synthesis house

LU

i keep three suppliers on rotation so a stock gap never becomes a problem

VL

the same 50mg at 185 with free shipping is 3.70 per mg. cheaper, and i still ordered the first one

CO

lead times stretch badly around chinese new year. order early or wait it out

Purity check: no report on file for lot A-2601. Nothing logged either way.

LA

the packaging from GL Biochem was the best i have had, double boxed with the tray intact

MP

JEEP has been consistent for me across 2 orders which is what i actually want

CO

i would order from SWB again and i would still weigh the vials, as i would with anyone

LA

prices move without announcement more often than people expect. screenshot your invoice

LA

i asked for a non standard vial size and got it without a surcharge. that told me more than any certificate

MP

quoted lead time was 5 days, real one was 14. is that typical

💀9

how long does support usually take to answer

BB

quoted lead time versus actual is the number i track. the gap is the informative part

📉1🙏1

unrelated but better paperwork is worth paying for and i did not think that two years ago
a supplier who tells you something is out of stock rather than shipping late is doing you a favour

weigh the vials

they improved

i have never had a problem i could not resolve with Homopeptide, which is a low bar and a lot of suppliers fail it

MP

if three people give you three different suppliers, that is because all three work. pick one and test it

WV

support answering in two days is good. answering in nine is a data point about the whole operation

MO

sorry to jump in nobody here gets paid to say anything about any supplier and the mods would end me if i did

what packaging have people had from GL Biochem

price per mg including shipping is the only comparison that means anything, from memory

🧊2❤️1🧪1

a 10mg vial at 38 in a pack of five, plus 25 shipping, is 215 for 50mg. thats 4.30 per mg
