week three nearly finished me and im at month 14 now, does anyone want the boring version

PF

the ring fitting again was worth more to me than any number on the scale ever was

[edited]

months not weeks

SF

honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug

please say it. this channel exists for exactly this and nobody here is bored of hearing it

still here at month 14

bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting, your mileage will differ

SURPASS-2 reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better, ask me again in a month

PF

half a stone in 23 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening

QH

coming back after 2 months to say i kept it off, is that useful to anybody

down 61 total and about half of that came in the first four months. it slowed after that and that was fine

nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 5 now

👍1📉1

somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me

anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself

MS

down 100 and my resting heart rate dropped 7 bpm, related or not

somebody talked me out of quitting at week three and i never said thank you properly

LL

i measure my waist as well because it kept moving through two separate stalls, not advice obviously

PF

my knees stopped hurting and i genuinely did not expect that, has anyone had the same

LL

blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets

*that should say weekly

MS

right so a1c came back 5.6 from 6.9, can i be pleased about that or is it too early to say anything

🧊1🤝1
NS

went up two flights of stairs without stopping and then had to sit down for a completely different reason

is there a point where you stop weighing daily

my milestone was tying my shoes sitting upright. it is not an endpoint in any trial

PF

first time under a number i havent seen since 2016, what did people do at that point

PF

congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother
