- first_month_fi — a1c came back 5.6 from 6.9, can i be pleased about that or is it too early to say anything 10:00
- per_mg_pete — the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance 10:35
- van_isle_vial — kept 17 of it off for 13 months now and that is the number i am actually proud of 15:05
- no_escrow_nate — SURMOUNT-OSA reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better 15:59
i was down 41 at month six and then nothing at all for eleven weeks. it moved again. the eleven weeks were not a failure
no side effects at all is a legitimate report and it belongs here as much as the hard ones do
a1c came back 5.6 from 6.9, can i be pleased about that or is it too early to say anything
m0 118.4
m1 113.9
m2 110.2
m3 108.8
m4 108.1 <- the stall
m5 105.0
m6 101.6

half a stone in 10 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening
ok so i overclaimed early on in here, got gently corrected, and i deserved it
a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it
is there a point where you stop weighing daily
careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two, still working it out
slow is fine
i stopped weighing daily at about month six and my mood improved more than my numbers did, thats just me
i nearly quit too
quick one is it weird that the clothes size mattered more to me than the number did
[edited]the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance
i want to say something in here but im worried about sounding like im showing off
honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug
[edited]down 80 and my resting heart rate dropped 9 bpm, related or not
what non scale thing surprised you most
the ring fitting again was worth more to me than any number on the scale ever was
thats a big drop
months not weeks
how do you say youre pleased in here without it sounding like an advert
my knees stopped hurting around 24 down and i had assumed that was permanent damage
somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me
thats brilliant
cpap pressure came down from 14 to 9 and the machine stopped waking me up in the night
does the room want the numbers or just the story
brilliant a1c
blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets
coming back after 8 months to say i kept it off, is that useful to anybody
coming back to this blood pressure was 148 over 94 at baseline and 126 over 80 today, is that the weight or coincidence
anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself
good bp move
is it bad form to say i havent had a single side effect
the stairs thing yeah
well done
keep going
my wedding ring fits again after 10 months, does anyone else measure things that arent weight
youre allowed to be pleased
16 down in 18 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale, not advice obviously
still here at month 14
the win i did not expect was sleeping through the night. i had forgotten that was available
kept 17 of it off for 13 months now and that is the number i am actually proud of
nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 1 now
down 23 since 11 months ago, whats a sensible thing to celebrate at
how do you celebrate this without it being about food
congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother
thats the win
SURMOUNT-OSA reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better
hit 15 down this morning and im sat here not really feeling anything, is that normal
i log kilos because i think in kilos and put pounds in brackets so nobody has to convert anything
went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win
down 28 total and about half of that came in the first four months. it slowed after that and that was fine
good bp move
10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month
