Highlights from this day
  • split_dose_sam — update on the earlier thing i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny 18:17
  • thirty_one_g — ok so down 94 and my resting heart rate dropped 7 bpm, related or not 19:49
  • still_here_2024 — my milestone was tying my shoes sitting upright. it is not an endpoint in any trial, still working it out 21:00
  • two_three_lifts — genuine question a1c came back 5.6 from 6.9, can i be pleased about that or is it too early to say anything 21:08

love this channel

PB

nearly quit at week three, the nausea was awful, somebody here told me to hold rather than push. month 17 now, your mileage will differ

TO

unrelated but repeat sleep study came back better, has anyone else moved out of the range they were in

🙏2

months not weeks

please say it. this channel exists for exactly this and nobody here is bored of hearing it

ring fitting is the best one

TO

i want to say something in here but im worried about sounding like im showing off

anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself

SD

BF

10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month

BF

honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug

the ring fitting again was worth more to me than any number on the scale ever was

⚠️8

my knees stopped hurting and i genuinely did not expect that, has anyone had the same

slightly off topic but the win i did not expect was sleeping through the night. i had forgotten that was available, thats just me

❤️3🙏8📈1

first time under a number i havent seen since 2016, what did people do at that point

🤝1😂14

congrats

📈15⚠️9

12 down in 16 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale

PB

size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop

coming back to this does the room want the numbers or just the story
size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop

PB

STEP 1 reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better

BF

coming back after 24 months to say i kept it off, is that useful to anybody

what non scale thing surprised you most

AO

does anyone else keep one pair of old jeans purely as a measuring device

BF

the boring version is the useful one. slow, uneventful, still going

BF

down 26 since 9 months ago, whats a sensible thing to celebrate at

TO

somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me

SH

went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win

i celebrated by buying a coat that fits. deliberately not food, which took some thinking about

TT

a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it
