my knees stopped hurting around 28 down and i had assumed that was permanent damage
down 12 since 6 months ago, whats a sensible thing to celebrate at
resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know, thats one data point
i nearly quit too
the boring version is the useful one. slow, uneventful, still going
the ring fitting again was worth more to me than any number on the scale ever was, i think
blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets
right so bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting
thats the win
please say it. this channel exists for exactly this and nobody here is bored of hearing it
coming back after 11 months to say i kept it off, is that useful to anybody
does anyone else keep one pair of old jeans purely as a measuring device
does the room want the numbers or just the story
half a stone in 17 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening
23 down in 21 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale, ill dig out the number
FLOW reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better
went up two flights of stairs without stopping and then had to sit down for a completely different reason
i log kilos because i think in kilos and put pounds in brackets so nobody has to convert anything
went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win
slightly off topic but i was the one who nearly quit at week three and now i am the one saying hold, which i find funny, your mileage will differ
10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month
i keep a pair of jeans from 2015 in the wardrobe as a measuring device and it is the only measurement i trust
months not weeks
the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance
