  • pinch_not_stretch — anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was… 21:24
  • VialBot — Recon calculator: 40mg in 2ml = 2.5mg/ml. 22:17
PS

size 22 to size 14 over about eighteen months. sizes are not consistent between shops so i only use the one shop
congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother

well done

U1

please say it. this channel exists for exactly this and nobody here is bored of hearing it

good bp move

the ring fitting again was worth more to me than any number on the scale ever was

slow is fine

the thing nobody tells you is that the wins slow down and you have to learn to like the maintenance

RW

my milestone was tying my shoes sitting upright. it is not an endpoint in any trial, anyway

TN

a1c 6.9 to 5.4 over ten months. not diabetic on paper anymore and i still do not quite believe it

went from stopping halfway up the stairs to carrying shopping up them without noticing, and that is the whole win

ok so went up two flights of stairs without stopping and then had to sit down for a completely different reason

DO

ok so week three nearly finished me and im at month 5 now, does anyone want the boring version

U1

blood pressure went from 148 over 94 to 124 over 78 across about a year and my gp took me off one of the two tablets

my wedding ring fits again after 18 months, does anyone else measure things that arent weight

⚠️4👀6📉18

ring fitting is the best one

SF

14 down in 21 months and honestly the stairs were the bit that got me, not the scale

FM

sorry to jump in congratulations, genuinely. and thank you for putting the caveats in, most people do not bother

i keep a pair of jeans from 2015 in the wardrobe as a measuring device and it is the only measurement i trust

my knees stopped hurting around 9 down and i had assumed that was permanent damage
resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know

the compliments were harder than i expected and nobody warns you about that part

still here at month 14

SB

slightly off topic but the win i did not expect was sleeping through the night. i had forgotten that was available

PN

10kg is about 22lb and i still get that conversion wrong at least once a month

⚠️5👍1📉2

down 66 total and about half of that came in the first four months. it slowed after that and that was fine

anyone else find the compliments harder to handle than the weight itself
the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was embarrassed by how much

📈18👀10😂9
SB

STEP 1 reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better

PS

the milestone that mattered was fitting an aeroplane seat without the extender, and i was embarrassed by how much

PS

slightly off topic but somebody thanked me a year later for a two line message i do not remember writing and it has stayed with me

TW

careful with the claiming though, mine could easily be the weight rather than the drug and i cannot separate the two

PS

i stopped weighing daily at about month six and my mood improved more than my numbers did

PS

is it weird that the clothes size mattered more to me than the number did

🧊57

i nearly quit too

😂14⚠️2🔥15
SB

quick one somebody talked me out of quitting at week three and i never said thank you properly

VB

Recon calculator: 40mg in 2ml = 2.5mg/ml.

CF

sorry to jump in no side effects at all is a legitimate report and it belongs here as much as the hard ones do

CF

resting heart rate went from 82 to 64 over a year. the weight, the walking, or both, i genuinely do not know

repeat sleep study came back better, has anyone else moved out of the range they were in

bloods, blood pressure and the stairs all moved before the scale did anything interesting

TW

first time under a number i havent seen since 2016, what did people do at that point

FT

sorry to jump in the boring version is the useful one. slow, uneventful, still going

thats brilliant

SF

i was down 20 at month six and then nothing at all for eleven weeks. it moved again. the eleven weeks were not a failure

SF

honest caveat on mine: i also started walking and lifting, so my numbers are not a clean read on the drug

GG

half a stone in 14 weeks sounds slow written down and felt enormous while it was happening
