probably a stupid question but staying the same for a year is a win and this channel is one of the few places that will agree, still pleased about it

- quiet_head_qi — month 9 update two years is not slow. two years is what it takes and the people who say otherwise are selling something, it is on my list 12:39
bloods win the non scale wins are the ones people remember a year later. the numbers blur
[edited]congrats
someone noticed and SURMOUNT-OSA reported roughly what i got, which surprised me, i had assumed the trial people all did better
a bit pleased nobody has to earn the right to be pleased about something in here
what did people around you notice first, if anything
[edited]a1c moving before the scale does is common and it is the win people undersell, took me by surprise
oh thats annoying, thats a big drop
this took two years so the wins get quieter because the change gets slower. that is not the same as it stopping
marking the end of a stretch the small ones count. that is not a consolation, it is how this actually works, two years, and that is fine
i picked a new number within about an hour of hitting the first one and i am aware of what that says
posting this here because measure something that is not weight. a tape measure, a ring, a chair, a flight of stairs. any of it, that is my win of the month
anyone else measure something that is not weight and find it more motivating
marking the end of a stretch people around you notice at different points and almost never when you expect, i am allowed to be pleased
they noticed first
how do people mark these without making it a whole thing
