the depot is the problem

- two_lifts_a_week — the members who were on a compounded version mostly moved to the branded product and paid more, from what i saw 11:21
- ten_of_ten — several members lost their compounded supply with roughly two months notice. that is the reported experience, not a rule i can quote at you, i have it written down… 11:24
- ten_of_ten — nz supply has tracked australian supply closely in everything members have reported. the two markets are not independent, thats just me 11:30
the seasonal thing works both ways. a july parcel into australia is an easy parcel, thats just me
pharmac had not funded it for weight when i last read about it and the nz members in here were all paying privately
tga and medsafe are separate regulators making separate decisions, and people conflate them constantly
supply steadied here
did the compounding rule change actually stop everything or just the big places
july is easy
keep a spare month
shipping into an australian summer, what do people actually do about it
whats the wait like to see somebody about this in australia
three gel packs
how many gel packs is enough for an australian summer
does anyone hold off ordering between december and february
what does a pharmacist in australia say if you just ask about supply
are the rules in nz the same or completely separate
i tested a vial after a summer transit out of pure paranoia and it came back 98.6. one vial, one result
an australian summer transit is the worst cold chain problem discussed in this channel and it is not close
the wait to see somebody was quoted to me as a few weeks privately and much longer publicly, when i asked in 2024
any pricing in this channel is a snapshot from whenever it was typed. australian prices moved a lot in two years
member reported figure
the members who were on a compounded version mostly moved to the branded product and paid more, from what i saw
several members lost their compounded supply with roughly two months notice. that is the reported experience, not a rule i can quote at you, i have it written down somewhere
[edited]*Janoshik not the other one
nz supply has tracked australian supply closely in everything members have reported. the two markets are not independent, thats just me
i was wrong about the compounding change taking effect immediately, it was phased, and i had told three people otherwise
the last leg to a rural address is where it bakes. the depot and the van are hotter than the plane ever was
three gel packs and a foil liner got mine through a january delivery. the packs arrived liquid and the powder was fine
the honest summary for australia is that the rules changed under people mid treatment and the room is still sore about it
the compounding rule change happened and it did stop the pharmacies that were making it, based on what members reported here at the time
clinic versus pharmacy came out roughly even for me once the consult fees were counted in
coming back to this does the pbs cover it for diabetes but not for weight
pharmac hasnt funded it
nz has it worse
summer is the risk
check thats still true
*that should say weekly
i keep a spare month in the fridge specifically because summer ordering down here is a gamble, anyway
how bad is the heat problem in january really
is it cheaper through a clinic or a pharmacy in australia
sorry to jump in did the compounders give any notice before they stopped
[edited]pbs is diabetes only afaik
