titrating dead slow

- karl_fischer — update on the earlier thing is 2.4 the number for this too or am i confusing compounds the combination is the thing with trial data behind it, monotherapy in here is… 11:33
- karl_fischer — its an amylin analogue, different receptor family, so treating it as another GLP-1 is the first mistake 13:08
- apob_over_ldl — whats the recon people use, 20 in 3ml the fullness effect hasnt faded over 18 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve 13:51
- apob_over_ldl — i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 19 months im still sceptical, just less so, not advice obviously 14:17
- apnoea_down_two — changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing 16:21
dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 6 months, appetite held but weight barely moved
update on the earlier thing is 2.4 the number for this too or am i confusing compounds
the combination is the thing with trial data behind it, monotherapy in here is mostly us guessing
has REDEFINE reported or are people quoting earlier work
$94 for a 15 vial and it lasts me longer than the GLP-1 does at my doses
anyone holding at 15 for a while before stepping
does the fullness effect fade the way appetite suppression does
its an amylin analogue, different receptor family, so treating it as another GLP-1 is the first mistake
underwhelming honestly
if youre used to GLP-1 titration steps this feels absurdly cautious and i still do it that way
whats the recon people use, 20 in 3ml
the fullness effect hasnt faded over 18 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve
i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me
while im here noticed something around week 4 on monotherapy, well after i had given up expecting to
*week 24 not week 5
monotherapy question, did appetite move for you without a GLP-1 alongside
i keep the two on separate days so if something goes wrong i have a chance of knowing which
held mine a while
did the combination change your GI compared to the GLP-1 alone
you cannot tell which of the two is doing what in a combination and i stopped pretending i could
how many weeks before you noticed anything on monotherapy
i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 19 months im still sceptical, just less so, not advice obviously
slower than the others
changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing
monotherapy here
