Highlights from this day
  • snac_and_water — if youre used to GLP-1 titration steps this feels absurdly cautious and i still do it that way 08:17
  • protein_floor — noticed something around week 10 on monotherapy, well after i had given up expecting to 09:23
  • cross_border_cam — is the nausea profile genuinely different or am i imagining it 10:51
RS

i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me

MM

the fullness effect hasnt faded over 22 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve

CagriSema is cagrilintide with semaglutide and REDEFINE is the trial programme around it

did the combination change your GI compared to the GLP-1 alone

did anyone add this to an existing semaglutide dose rather than starting both

is the slower titration because of nausea or something else

[edited]

is there a reason people titrate this over more weeks than the others

two Medutest results on the same QSC lot came back 99.4 and 98.1, closer than i expected

MM

you cannot tell which of the two is doing what in a combination and i stopped pretending i could, thats just me

dosing them on different days made no difference i could detect

underwhelming honestly

weekly for me, same day every week, no reason beyond habit

slower than the others

PF

the numbers everyone quotes come from the combination, so comparing them to monotherapy logs is unfair

PF

noticed something around week 10 on monotherapy, well after i had given up expecting to

MM

went slower because the first step gave me two rough days and i took that as information

RS

quick one dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 1 months, appetite held but weight barely moved

quick one changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing, anyway

follow up combination GI was worse than either alone for me, which is not what i had read anywhere

monotherapy here

VB

Digest for the week of 2024-12-22 has been published.

MP

anyone dosing this on a different day to their semaglutide

🙏4❤️1⚠️1
MM

unrelated but $240 for a 10 vial and it lasts me longer than the GLP-1 does at my doses

unrelated but i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something, still working it out

MP

the nausea felt different rather than less, more fullness and less of the queasy wave

monotherapy did work for me, just slower and smaller than i expected

🤝6🙏1

genuine question anyone got two Janoshik results on the same KP lot for this

the slower titration in here is community habit as much as anything, the trials had their own schedule

CC

cant separate them

lost 101lb over 2 months on the combination and i genuinely cannot apportion it

MP

i keep the two on separate days so if something goes wrong i have a chance of knowing which

amylin not glp-1
