titrating dead slow

- oasis_ola — amylin analogue, so its not a GLP-1 at all right 18:28
- fridge_thermo — REDEFINE is the phase 3 programme, most of what gets quoted casually in here is earlier work 19:06
- fridge_thermo — if youre used to GLP-1 titration steps this feels absurdly cautious and i still do it that way 19:38
- deamidation — dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 12 months, appetite held but weight barely moved 20:37
amylin analogue, so its not a GLP-1 at all right
anyone got two Medutest results on the same JEEP lot for this
amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist
slower than the others
i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 7 months im still sceptical, just less so
monotherapy was underwhelming for me and i say that as someone who wanted it to work, your mileage will differ
fullness rather than nausea
is the nausea profile genuinely different or am i imagining it
REDEFINE is the phase 3 programme, most of what gets quoted casually in here is earlier work
anyone dosing this on a different day to their semaglutide
cagrisema thats it
right so the fullness effect hasnt faded over 23 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve
the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent
how slow are people titrating this compared to semaglutide
whats the recon people use, 2 in 1.5ml
$240 for a 20 vial and it lasts me longer than the GLP-1 does at my doses
if youre used to GLP-1 titration steps this feels absurdly cautious and i still do it that way
sorry to jump in anyone holding at 5 for a while before stepping
the combination is the thing with trial data behind it, monotherapy in here is mostly us guessing
did the combination change your GI compared to the GLP-1 alone
*VendorInvestigate not the other one
changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing
cant separate them
is anyone running this on its own or is it all CagriSema in here
follow up did anyone add this to an existing retatrutide dose rather than starting both
REDEFINE is the trial
the reason nausea reads differently is timing, mine arrived on the second day rather than the first
i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me
has REDEFINE reported or are people quoting earlier work
i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something, i could be wrong
*VendorInvestigate not the other one
how many weeks before you noticed anything on monotherapy
is the weekly schedule the same here
monotherapy here
how do people separate which of the two is doing what in a combination
went slower because the first step gave me two rough days and i took that as information
[edited]combination for me
is the slower titration because of nausea or something else
held at 1.7 for 7 months on monotherapy before i touched it again
dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 12 months, appetite held but weight barely moved
underwhelming honestly
the numbers everyone quotes come from the combination, so comparing them to monotherapy logs is unfair
lost 89lb over 6 months on the combination and i genuinely cannot apportion it
separate days
thats the phase 3 one
dosing them on different days made no difference i could detect
*Medutest not the other one
different not less
combination GI was worse than either alone for me, which is not what i had read anywhere
while im here did anyone find monotherapy underwhelming
