Friday30 messages6 participantstimes are UTC
Highlights from this day
  • two_lifts_a_week — monotherapy did work for me, just slower and smaller than i expected 17:34
  • dana_titrates — anyone stopped the GLP-1 and kept only this 18:50
  • private_script_pri — anyone holding at 2.5 for a while before stepping 19:12

slower than the others

BR

anyone dosing this on a different day to their cagrilintide

TL

added it to an existing tirzepatide dose rather than starting both, which made attribution possible

BR

is the slower titration because of nausea or something else

held mine a while

🤝514

amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist, anyway

weekly for me, same day every week, no reason beyond habit

*week 11 not week 5

DT

ok so is the combination just the two dosed together or a single formulation
added it to an existing tirzepatide dose rather than starting both, which made attribution possible

did the combination change your GI compared to the GLP-1 alone

you cannot tell which of the two is doing what in a combination and i stopped pretending i could

anyone holding at 2.5 for a while before stepping

stopped for 12 months and the fullness went within a fortnight of the last dose

PN

combination GI was worse than either alone for me, which is not what i had read anywhere

the fullness effect hasnt faded over 22 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve

📉1😂2

the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent, we shall see

BR

held at 1.7 for 3 months on monotherapy before i touched it again
