#cagrilintide 2026-05-22

Friday30 messages9 participantstimes are UTC
Highlights from this day
  • triple_ag_tom — two Medutest results on the same SGN lot came back 99.4 and 99, closer than i expected 20:42
  • area_percent — the numbers everyone quotes come from the combination, so comparing them to monotherapy logs is unfair 21:26
  • chaser_chris — 5 in 2.5ml gives 2.5mg/ml which is what i use, purely because the units come out round 22:26
  • yyz_vial — whats REDEFINE testing exactly 22:44
  • VialBot — New independent result logged — MKM, lot SG-1177, purity 98.1% (PeptideMeter). 22:47

REDEFINE is the trial

TT

changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing

its an amylin analogue, different receptor family, so treating it as another GLP-1 is the first mistake

TA

two Medutest results on the same SGN lot came back 99.4 and 99, closer than i expected

£240 for a 5 vial and it lasts me longer than the GLP-1 does at my doses

NT

combination GI was worse than either alone for me, which is not what i had read anywhere

NT

nobody should copy my schedule, im describing it because people asked what a slow ramp looks like

slower than the others

added it to an existing cagrilintide dose rather than starting both, which made attribution possible, ill dig out the number

CC

REDEFINE is the phase 3 programme, most of what gets quoted casually in here is earlier work

CC

i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something

YV

the fullness effect hasnt faded over 15 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve

CC

5 in 2.5ml gives 2.5mg/ml which is what i use, purely because the units come out round

i keep the two on separate days so if something goes wrong i have a chance of knowing which
