how to keep your own lot log without losing your mind

one row per vial. i use a spreadsheet with vendor, order date, stated lot, arrival date, storage, and a test column that is blank until i pay for one

add a photo column. photograph the vial label and the crimp before you touch it

and photograph the cake. a collapsed or shrunken cake is information you cannot recover later

i log the customs declaration wording too, it has predicted delays better than the courier has

good addition. that is the whole method, it is not complicated, it is just boring
