Tuesday18 messages4 participantstimes are UTC
Highlights from this day
  • provincial_pat — plateau versus set point is not answerable in under six months of data 20:01
  • provincial_pat — holding is not failing. most people here who lasted two years held at least one dose for months 20:19
  • thirty_min_wait — i went from 2.5 to 5 and honestly could not tell the difference in appetite 20:38
  • spreadsheet_stu — the honest answer is that most of us are running protocols nobody has ever studied 21:21
  • spreadsheet_stu — if i hold at 10 indefinitely am i losing anything 21:24

if you are asking whether to go up, the fact you are asking usually means not yet, i think

do you tell your prescriber you held or do you just hold

how much does the last dose still matter 5 days later

PP

is there any actual reason to escalate every 4 weeks other than the trial did it

the ladder in the trials is a starting point, not a schedule you owe anyone

TM

with a roughly seven day half-life you are near steady state after about five weeks at a dose

my titration ladder took 25 months to climb and i would do it slower again

small steps are better than big ones and the only reason people take big ones is impatience

TM

nobody here can tell you what dose to be on and the ones who try get corrected

SS

my rule: if a side effect is still there at day five, i hold. if it clears by day three, i step
