a half step with a syringe is arithmetic, not medicine. the arithmetic is the easy part, i came down after that
is a half step a real thing

- appetite_back — week 25 check in is a half step a real thing or are people just making it up with a syringe — and i have been at 15 for 5 months and honestly i have stopped wanting to move i wrote the date and dose… 16:12
my titration went like this a step has finished when the thing it was doing stops changing, and it took me a year to work that out, give it four weeks before you judge
of course it did, no rush at all
half steps are people improvising with the material they have, and they log it honestly, which is the part that matters, that was a slow climb
splitting the weekly is a real thing people do and the evidence for it in here is entirely anecdotal
five weeks a step is what i do now, four is the label and five is what my second week kept asking for, ask someone qualified about yours
plenty stop early
people who post their ladder always post the successful half of it, i would do it slower again
do people tell their prescriber before they hold or only afterwards, i have looked and cannot find it
[edited]the honest answer is that most of us are running protocols nobody has ever studied, ask someone qualified about yours
not a prescriber but split dosing has no trial behind it. people here do it and report on it, thats all
one more on holding small steps are better than big ones and the only reason people take big ones is impatience, ask someone qualified about yours
a missed week does not reset you, but going straight back to the top dose after a gap is how people get floored, i think
ask someone qualified
