BR

turnaround has been between 12 days and twice that depending on the queue

BR

coming back after 4 months, is the submission process the same

BR

how much sample does the lab need for purity plus quantity

⚠️12🧊2🤝12

do we publish the raw report or a summary

whats the current turnaround, last one took 12 days

VendorInvestigate has been the fastest for us. Janoshik has been the most detailed. those are not the same lab

II

chain of custody in hobby testing is weak and we say so in every writeup, we shall see

if you want to know about your vial, you have to submit your vial. that is the whole answer

BR

update from 9 months ago: the blinding process is unchanged and it has held up fine

code not name

is there a preferred lab for quantity specifically

*PeptideMeter not the other one

BR

a code and a lot number on the syringe in permanent marker. that is the whole labelling requirement

how long do you keep the retained half of the sample

i keep half the sample back so there is something to send if the first one goes missing

TT

we have never had a lab mix up a sample. we have had members mix up their own labelling twice

VB

Batch lookup A-2418: 6 independent reports on file, earliest 2025-09-13.

TT

the queue is posted and updated. if your code is not on it, it did not arrive

i would rather fund one careful quantity test than three purity tests

is there a submission going out this month and can i get in on it

CO

the split works from about 3 people. below that everyone pays more than the test is worth

[edited]
CO

roughly one sample in 5 rounds has gone missing in transit. budget for it emotionally

HH

do not send your only vial. that has happened twice and both times it hurt

TT

submissions go out blinded. the lab gets a code, not a supplier name. that removes one variable, it is not distrust

TT

powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control, ymmv

LL

update on the earlier thing send a capped syringe with enough for a rerun. the minimum is never enough if they need to repeat it

queue is posted

i coordinate the round, collect the codes, and post every result including the dull ones

whats the failure rate on samples actually arriving
