Highlights from this day
  • protein_floor — unrelated but the queue is posted and updated. if your code is not on it, it did not arrive 12:20
  • dublin_dose — how long do you keep the retained half of the sample 13:29
  • protein_floor — whats the failure rate on samples actually arriving 17:13
CO

unrelated but can i add a second lot to the same submission

[edited]

*PeptideMeter not the other one

RR

a pooled result tells you about the pool. it does not tell you about your vial

PF

unrelated but quantity is the test worth paying for. purity is usually fine and fill usually is not

declare it as an analytical reference sample with a low value. that is what it is, happy to be corrected

code compound submitted status
R-01 semaglutide 2026-02-14 reported
R-02 tirzepatide 2026-02-14 reported
R-03 retatrutide 2026-02-16 in queue
R-04 reference std 2026-02-16 reported

*VendorInvestigate not the other one

a code and a lot number on the syringe in permanent marker. that is the whole labelling requirement

VB

On this day 8 years ago this channel logged 58 messages.

DD

how long do you keep the retained half of the sample

for the archive roughly one sample in 7 rounds has gone missing in transit. budget for it emotionally, someone check my working

submissions go out blinded. the lab gets a code, not a supplier name. that removes one variable, it is not distrust

code compound submitted status
R-01 semaglutide 2026-02-14 reported
R-02 tirzepatide 2026-02-14 reported
R-03 retatrutide 2026-02-16 in queue
R-04 reference std 2026-02-16 reported

powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control

LU

update from 5 months ago: the blinding process is unchanged and it has held up fine

VendorInvestigate has been the fastest for us. VendorInvestigate has been the most detailed. those are not the same lab

🧪15

if you want to know about your vial, you have to submit your vial. that is the whole answer

do you want the vial reconstituted or as powder

VB

Batch lookup B-0114: 8 independent reports on file, earliest 2025-03-05.

DD

i coordinate the round, collect the codes, and post every result including the dull ones

DD

i would rather fund one careful quantity test than three purity tests

two labs on the same lot is a luxury but it is how we learned what inter-lab variance looks like

CO

while im here do not send your only vial. that has happened twice and both times it hurt

DD

we have never had a lab mix up a sample. we have had members mix up their own labelling twice

dont send your only vial

PF

chain of custody in hobby testing is weak and we say so in every writeup

we publish the raw report. summaries hide the thing you needed to see

coordinating this round

including a reference standard in the batch is the single best thing we ever added to this process

VB

Purity check: no report on file for lot C-4402. Nothing logged either way.

PS

while im here the split works from about 5 people. below that everyone pays more than the test is worth
