i stayed at treatment dose for four months past goal and then came down slowly. that order was right for me

two or three kilos up and down is normal fluctuation. ten is a different conversation, still working it out
appetite returning is not the drug failing, it is the drug doing less because you are taking less of it

if i go back up after regain does it work the same the second time

cost did not drop at maintenance for me because i went to a lower dose from the same vial and just used it slower

unrelated but how do you decide youre actually at maintenance rather than just stalled

LM

if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room, for what its worth

whats a realistic amount of regain to accept rather than panic about

i set a trigger weight instead of a target. if i cross it i go up a rung. that is my entire plan

MS

i was wrong about maintenance being the easy part and i had said so loudly for a year beforehand

MS

coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month

MS

how much regain did people get in the first 21 months after stopping

MS

everybody i have seen stop and hold it did something else as well, without exception in my time here
i weigh weekly at maintenance rather than daily and my range is about two kilos either side

RO

i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it

FN

the honest answer to is this forever is that nobody knows and the drug only works while you are taking it, i have it written down somewhere

i went to every ten days at a low dose and it held for me. n of 1, and i keep saying that out loud

genuine question the maintenance conversation barely existed in here two years ago and now it is half the channel

i think about it the way i think about my blood pressure tablet, and that framing helped me more than anything else
i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it

no official dose

stopped 7 months ago and put 16 back on, what did people do at that point

MM

how long did people stay at treatment dose after hitting goal

RS

im holding at 10 for maintenance and wondering whether i should be lower
there is no trial on every ten days or every fortnight. people here do it and report on it and that is all we have

MS

i lift twice a week specifically because losing fast without it cost me more than i was willing to lose, someone check my working

RS

while im here regain after stopping is the expected outcome, which is a horrible sentence and also what the data says

MM

follow up update from 23 months ago: still at maintenance, still boring, which was always the goal

MS

holidays at maintenance are fine, i take the dose on the day and stop thinking about it

is there any trial data at all on a lower frequency schedule
