still at maintenance
SURMOUNT-1 is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion
anyone tried every ten days or every fortnight as a maintenance schedule
dropping to a maintenance dose was uneventful for me and completely miserable for somebody i talk to weekly, i could be wrong
the muscle question is the one i wish i had taken seriously at month two instead of month twelve
come down slower than that
did anyone drop the dose for maintenance or just stay where they were
i went to every ten days at a low dose and it held for me. n of 1, and i keep saying that out loud
thats fluctuation
maintenance is harder than losing because there is no number going down to keep you interested
genuine question i set a trigger weight instead of a target. if i cross it i go up a rung. that is my entire plan
a 10mg vial at a 2mg maintenance dose is five weeks of doses, so my monthly cost roughly halved, anyway
regain is expected

is a maintenance dose a real clinical thing or something we invented between us
lower frequency maintenance is genuinely unstudied. anybody telling you it is proven is making that up
did your maintenance dose end up higher or lower than you expected it to
the maintenance conversation barely existed in here two years ago and now it is half the channel
genuine question i stayed at treatment dose for four months past goal and then came down slowly. that order was right for me
set a trigger weight
did anyone regret dropping the dose too fast
same as a bp tablet
i weigh weekly at maintenance rather than daily and my range is about two kilos either side
i dropped from 5 to 7.5 for maintenance and held steady for fourteen months
i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it
[edited]stopped 13 months ago and put 39 back on, what did people do at that point
food noise coming back at a lower dose settled again after about four weeks for me
if i go back up after regain does it work the same the second time
cost did not drop at maintenance for me because i went to a lower dose from the same vial and just used it slower
no official dose
whats a realistic amount of regain to accept rather than panic about
i was wrong about maintenance being the easy part and i had said so loudly for a year beforehand
is maintenance different between semaglutide and the others or is that all anecdote
for the archive there is no official maintenance dose. it is a thing we do because the alternative on the table was stopping
im holding at 1 for maintenance and wondering whether i should be lower
two or three kilos up and down is normal fluctuation. ten is a different conversation
mine held
there is no trial on every ten days or every fortnight. people here do it and report on it and that is all we have
went back up, no regrets
